Context

What the project needed to make clear.

Haldas explores a voice-first ritual for people who need a calm moment to name what they are carrying, rather than another open-ended chat interface.

Challenge

The problem behind the visible interface.

The first session needed to create an immediate emotional payoff while microphone, transcription, model response and spoken playback could each fail independently.

Response

A focused system, not a pile of features.

The MVP moves from a simple mood prompt into recording, a deliberate reflection pause and a structured heart-state card. Native speech-to-text, local response logic and device TTS support the remote AI path.

Today's heart state

Needing a moment to be understood.

Spoken playback available
  1. 01Choose a starting moodA small prompt gives the first session direction.
  2. 02Speak without formattingVoice capture keeps the interaction immediate.
  3. 03Pause and reflectA deliberate quiet phase creates anticipation.
  4. 04Reveal and saveA structured heart-state card makes the moment visible.

Result

A clearer, repeatable outcome.

The in-development Flutter product now has a coherent first-use flow, structured insight model, saved journal sessions and a supportive seven-day progress view.

Delivery highlights

  • The central product moment names the user's current heart state.
  • Structured insight fields keep the response warm but presentation-ready.
  • Fallback paths preserve the core experience during local and API-free testing.

Evidence note

Self-initiated, in-development MVP. The case study describes the working product direction without presenting it as a launched client product.
